I must say, those are some of the prettiest cubes I have ever seen. I love the coloring and spotting on those caps. I am more excited now after seeing that post.

Thanks to the generosity of Jeet, I started my first batch of those this morning. Now the waiting game begins.

Those look like they are going to be a lot of fun. I can't wait to sample those. Hopefully these babies grow fast!

By the by, I checked out Oak Ridge on Google Earth expecting to see some very low res stuff, or it blacked out like you said...but I can see everything! Like, down to cars on the freeway...

and with 100% neglect they have a pretty decent pinset on in verm casing... i hope to have pics in my journal up of the casing, and even an invitro that grew pretty fast in a matter of days.

My wife...my bro-in-law...his GF...and myself all tripped on 1.5 grams each. We were all fucked up in about 30 minutes. My wife and I agree that next time we only need 1 gram....it was a little too hardcore for the first 2 hours.

Took em at 6:35pm and tripped BALLS until midnight...then it felt like good speed for another 3 hours until I fell asleep at 3am. 9 fucking hours LOL...it was a but too much....in a good way. Were def taking less next time.

Got a PE grow going right now...going to compare at 1.5 as well.

that's funny we noticed the "speed" effect as well!

i noticed it on the come up, and was quite jittery through the entire experience. But i get out of control wired up off one cappuccino .

Hunter those fruits look fabulous.
I'll probably start some agar of this myself now that I have plates, tools, and yes, i am VERY lame, i ordered my agar.

lets play with rhizo cuttings!

oh yeah, 1 gram is about all it takes for a good mild, not overwhelming experience. Even off of brf cakes, i grew one, i ate the fruits, i was shocked. Manure though, omfg, rye to manure seems to make the 1gram dry dose mark, consistent.

just thought i'd give you some progress of my work,

it cant compare to huntergt,
and the pinset isnt that great as i was out of town for some of the vital steps to ensure good pinsets :frown:

But still coming along great!


theres a different looking one in the back corner, not sure whats up with him.
I also have a cake from the same print with a big fruit that looks more like Penis envy... but no worries! i love all mushrooms equally. :smile: Thanks again jeet.

for what you are using, that looks great, With multispore i got some offshoots like that, some little itty ones that opened up quick. The "penis envy looking one" is probaby just going to be a larger fruit.

that's a good enough pinset for being neglected, and those look healthy.
please update with open cap pics! or pre harvest, whichever it may be.

he spawned 43 invitro poo bags with more OAK RIDGE ISOLATE!

so, in a few short weeks, i'll have another thousand or so prints.

I'll keep everyone updated.

huntergt how's yours doing?
anyone else i've sent prints to have anything to show????

i read a lot of emails talking about all kinds of things being done, but no one is really sharing images or grow logs.?.???

do i need to send out more prints? or no?

I printed mine and will have it forever of course. :smile:  Not getting into agar just yet....

Going to case the Syzygy you gave me tomorrow.  Spawned it to coir/coffee.....casing with 50/50+

I have PE/B+/Mex all going now.  I'm pretty much going to grow the OakRidge for me and my wifes personal use.  It was my first grow and it's got a special place in our hearts.  Plus it's like the skunk of the cubes lol....very fucking potent.  All the other strains are just because... 

OakRidge do be the best.

I'm not sure jeet, i heard peroxide is only used for cobweb due to the fact that its
harmful to mycelia.

I guess ill just have to some how get a glove box :sad:

PS

There was a def. variation resulting in at least two distinct type of mushrooms,
the thicker stemmed and more spherical caps,
and the ones that kinda broke veil early and flattened out with skinny stems. it was interesting to see the split in the mycelium where the different fruit bodies protruded.
