What sites are you using to find torrents now?

I use BTjunky. It's a lot better than torrentspy.

I use oink for music, but I was trying to get a video. I used Mininova and found it ok. Thanks for answers.

What are these torrent sites? I have no idea what this is...can some please explain it to me? Is it a site to download movies and stuff? I hate using Limewire...so many viruses.

Bit Torrent is the same thing as P2P like Limewire, it's just that the downloads aren't within the P2P client, they're on internet websites. It's actually more organized, because you can actually have organization on a site, y'know? So, you browse the torrent website and when you find something you want to download: The thing you download is called a .torrent file and what it is is a set of instruction for your Bit Torrent client that tells your computer who's sharing your file, and it connects to them and your download begins. So, to re-cap: instead of like a regular P2P where you do a search in the client, and double-click what you want, you have to go on the internet, find what you want, download a special little file, load it into your Bit Torrent client, and THEN the transfer begins. You can automate the process of loading into your client by having all .torrents in a specific folder be automatically loaded into your client, turning it into a 2-step process, as opposed to a 3, which is on par with regular old P2P. Did you catch taht or did I confuse you?

The only thing i want to download is alt porn and that tv show californication.

is it better than limewire or those other P2P sites?

Yerp I did use torrentspy quite often. Now I mainly use demonoid. I'll use isohunt.com and mininova occasionally if I can't find it on demonoid.

Canadian users are blocked from Demonoid. :frown:

And torrentspy sucks now anyways, they're just torrents from other sites.
