Bonnaroo 2008
    #7525023 -

anyone know what its like? how high is the security? I had friends that went to the echo project in GA and said it was amazing...people walking around yelling out stuff like nuggz, rolls,Lucy and the cops when you entered looked in the places where you would never hide it like in cup holders or on the mirror. is it like this or just the opposite?

Bonnaroo is an awesome, laid back place. Although sales are discreet, you can find anything your little heart desires. Security is there more so no one gets hurt. I can't wait until next years festival.

my dealer sold to an informant there. they traced him back home, 2 states away, then busted most of his contacts.

security

*with that said though, they did come back with a bag full of amazing tripple stacked rolls, and i hear everything else was available there.

I went this year and people don't actually yell it out. They more or less whisper it at people who seem to want it or are asking for it. your shit doesn't always find you, sometimes you have to ask around.

Also they have search at the entrance to centeroo but they only check for weapons and large amounts. Actually this year one of the searching crew yelled out amongst the people waiting in line that they don't care about small quantities there more concerned with people trying to sell in centeroo.

I wouldn't sell stuff there, but that is just me. Last year, I brought an ounce of nugs in with me for personal use and bought everything else that my little heart desired. Security is there, but I never really saw them as a threat, just don't be stupid.

you went to echo or bonnaroo? I planned on putting my items in a pringles container and putting pringles over them, then glueing the plastic wrapper back on and putting top on so it looks brand new ..what is considered large to them? ounce of weed and shrooms and sheets?

Yeah my buddy went to echo project in ATL too.
He said basically the same thing as you.
Anything you wanted, basically tons of dealers trying to get rid of everything.

I've gone every year to bonnaroo.
never to the echo though.

security is hit or miss at the gates.
either cops or staff searching you. the staff doesn't really search,
but the cops do an okay job.

sometimes people yell out things in the campgrounds areas,
but on the streets it's pretty much all whispering.

I suggest you bring some comfortable shoes, some rain gear,
and some way to stay cool in 90+ degree weather for four days.
bring an open mind too.

bonnaroo is great, if you're not an idiot, you'll love it.

I can't wait!!

This isn't true.
Please, stop believing it and stop spreading it as truth before it gets you or someone you know in trouble.

i wonder how many ppl go every year because of the stories they hear about drugs.

its ruining it for the people who actually care about the music.

I think the drugs and the music kinda go hand-in-hand.

I am hoping for:

Medeski Martin and Wood
Sound Tribe
Black Moth Super Rainbow
GEORGE CLINTON P-FUNK (A late night tent show would be AMAZING)

Anyways, the drugs go hand in hand with the festival. I literally feel free there, and not paranoid one bit. Go ahead sell some bud/mushrooms make your money back show some love. Staying away from shakedown, and selling in campgrounds keeps you safe, and allows you to meet all kinds of folks. It also gifts you to the hookup on anything good that you want.

3 and a half hours?
That really isn't shit. I drive much farther for school.
We were gonna drive to Vegas for Vegoose, but the person we were gonna stay with backed out.

But yeah, that isn't long, I'm assuming it's definitely worth it (never been to a 'Roo... yet.)
