Hilton Head SC. I've went pickin' out there with friedns before. The cubensis are very abundant almost year round on that island. Definately worth the drive out there if you have a ride! I'm sure there are many other areas in SC that prduce well. Hilton Head is the only place I've personally picked. Check any where along the coast of SC and your bound to find magic sooner or later.

Yeah, there aint shit in Greenville. I lived there for a couple years and hunted but never found anything besides lots of yellow-capped A.muscaria on the roadsides on the way to different pastures. I've had really good luck finding cubies down in Charleston S.C., especially John's Island and in Hollywood, S.C. right outside of Charleston. If you want to e-mail me, I'll let you know exactly where a couple of good, safe fields are, if you're willing to make the roadtrip.
