The SEC owns the PAC10, btw.

USC and Florida barely dropped because people are just on their knees for them.
The Stanford thing could be seen as a fluke, I guess, but their ranked so high (as is UF) simply because they're so stacked everywhere.

Wisconsin has PJ Hill, it doesn't go much beyond that but I don't they necessarily should have dropped that much (certainly not below a 2-loss Florida).

Not to mention the fact that I'm really fucking confident that App St is better than Stanford, but Michigan goes from 5 to unranked, but USC goes from 2 to 7?
It's just annoying. And yes, the SEC owns the Pac 10. For me to say the SEC isn't the best conference would be foolish, but I wish people would stop sucking SEC dick.

SEC owns Pac 10, but you gotta admit the Pac 10's been making some strides within the past decade of football.


Big 10 is clearly the most overrated conference in the country. As evident from last year's national championship game.

it's hard to argue with someone who can't see the issue objectively.

Everyone who follows college football in depth without blind loyalty to one college knows the Big 10 has always been suspect of having the most overrated rankings amongst the conferences.


When Ohio State played Florida in Last year's national championship game, all it proved was what aeveryone was saying along.

Florida even admitted that they'd played teams BETTER than Ohio throughout the year within their own conference.



Ohio plays some pretty shitty competition this year, the only ranked team they played so far was purdue, who's barely ranked at all.

I thought I was making it pretty obvious that the Big Ten sucks, and the conference as a whole isn't overrated.

I don't think the championship last year proved anything except there needs to be a playoff system. If you actually watched OSU play last year, you could not have argued with either Troy Smith being the Heisman winner or OSU on a whole being clearly the best team in the country until that game. Obviously Florida said that, we looked like a fucking MAC team in that game. To sit there and say that was Ohio State's highest level of play that year is ridiculous.

Yes, Ohio has played shitty competition this year, and pretty much does all year (hence me not being in the Shoe right now because I didn't by tickets.) I think I have the ability to actually take a step back and look at things objectively. Seriously watch Ohio State and tell me they aren't pretty fucking good. The Big Ten sucks. Ohio State does not.

On another note, I think I've made it pretty clear I know and accept that the SEC is the best conference bar none, it just frustrates me how much every gets on their knees and blows that conference week in and week out.

On another note, I don't have blind loyalty to one college.
At this point in time I'd say I'm a bigger SU fan than OSU fan.
Talk to me in two years and I may say otherwise.

but it was pretty damn funny seeing them get completely SCHOOLED after their obnoxious fans were offering verbal fellatio to Tressel.

but it's sad knowing they'll never play a team ranked in the top 10 and probably ride their schedule to the title game again.

Atleast last year they had to survive texas and a michigan that doesn't suck.
