I'm probably going to get some mad flamage for asking this, but do any of you guys have any experience with supplementing your plants(cacti in particular) with Auxins or Gibberellic acid?

I have used gibberellic acid on other plants but not cacti. In my experience gibberellic acid works well for a few months but then plants seem to develop a tolerance to it. At that point my experiment with gibberellic acid became too expensive so i quit using it.

L-dopa in the form of Mucana pruiens composted may help boost alkaloid levels, or injections of dopamine 2 weeks before harvest.
Testing with a mass-spec to know for sure soon.....
