Well, theres nothing out there yet. I went out there to check for them and collect dry patties for some outdoor tek. While smoking a bowl I stumbled across one with small amounts of white fuzz. I not sure if its a Ps. Cub. though. So I brought the patty home and I am now tring to get to to fruit. Anyone have any advice??

I know what you mean about the animals. Out were I go I ran into a ranger, he told me that they killed 60 feral pigs out there in 1 day. He said that "bird watchers"(aka shroom pickers) were complaining about them. I've only ran across a small family once while picking.

What you have to look out for when doing that would be a rattlesnake or a water moicassin which are common in Florida. That and a farmers buckshot in you ass is not cool.

Of course I am going now to my files tosfcan a piture of a warning not to enter. This was in a pasture in Hawaii where Copelandia grow, but you could smell marijuana being grown in the woods near where I came across this tree.

In Hawaii, pigs are a problem. Not only have they ruined all of the streams and waterfall poos in the island with their trichinosis and leptospirosus, but their pig traps are dangerous for mushroom pikers who might awander into one wild shrooming in the hills and pasturelands of the islands.

So one can see that there are dangers out there in strange places and when one doesn'tr asked permission to be on ones property then one does take a chance at getting burried.

In Florida in 1978, a local deputy sherriff shot two mushroom pickers in the back after preciously warning them about picking mushrooms in his district.

Luckily (not for the shroomers, though) another deputy sherriff was driving by and saw the murders take place.

The sheriff got a total of eight years for manslaughter and then was released after serving only four years.

Another picker in Florida drowned while piciking shrooms. He was found with an empty wine bota on his side and apparently drank alot of wine as he ate shrooms while picking and layed dopwn in a swampy area and fell face down in the swamp and drowned.

So You see, Things can happen.
