biocentrism...
does this "discovery" or "theory" seem absurdly obvious to anyone else?

perhaps spirit can be so inanimate in consciousness that it can enact its motions upon reality without knowing its causing change.
Thats basically rock or stone consciousness.

so there is a fluctuation of all things, frequencies of connectivity, to certain structures and orders like creatures there is usually a constant of property and behaviour, this is a self sustaining channel of order (it moves, manipulates objects, has an internality of thought that operates in very diverse waves and matrixes), it (creatures) exist purely because it survives, it is not dematerialized, deconstructed, its a paradigm of activity within "reality" that generates its own extension.
(And not necessarily "into" or "forward" into "time", it is growing, which doesnt presume to say that "growth" occurs in reverse simultaneously)
From a more "physical" perspective the biological organism is a semi-fluid semi-solid mediator of elements on a proportional scale, which its spectrum of interaction continues to expand (physically and proportionally) with technology.
It is spirit in which consciousness can also "expand" its spectrality, given there is actually a substance in that geyser or vortex of near oblivion (lack of true novel sense) to attract to and begin feeding the new form of mind and existance.

Choice as directed by the illusory concentration of experiences and phenomena infected with ripples of defined form (a.k.a. self) seems to be only fractionally accurate.

What is controlled, controls the controller in the very premise of interaction.

No choice is made without the input of option and state.
Otherwise it is not "choice" but some form of eruption of existance.
To define it as directed by will is to say there is a will that has a foundation to direct from, which would of course be choice, which would be of course be determined by the foundation of option and state.

"self" is a sense of the mass manifestation of activity in mind, effected by its overall input, its sequence or method of motion/change of known artifacts of thought characterize "persona".
It is a constant cocreative anomaly with all "externalities" (if divisions between spirit and the beyond can ever be absolute, which fundamentally seems impossible)

the arrow paradox assumed that time could be frozen, it was a hypothetical prerequisite to continue considering the paradox.
motion doesnt seem to ever -freeze-
its continuing...to move...still so...

consciousness is .... AHHHHHJKDJKD!!! experience?!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!multi level switch rearrange....its all reality converging in on a sub-level organizer, but a receptor for signals from the true infinite and beautiful essences of all

Your point is irrelevant and out of context.

I am talking about that which cannot be explained. I do NOT believe the mind can understand the vastness of everything through a mere explanation. Nature cannot be fully translated into words.

shakercee originally stated -

That's a scary realization to most humans. That prompts us to search for someone who is all-encompassing, omnipotent, to assure ourselves, okay there is someone or a group (read channeling) who can explain the design to us and where we fit in.

We can ask questions about the design, and we may get an answer. But is this answer going to take us to a full awareness and understanding of the design? Can the vast and all-encompassing design of nature be grasped by the questioning and answering mind? Believing it can is fooling oneself, IME.

My experience is unexplainable. Period!

No, you said:

And tell me exactly where did I state that we can know everything with our minds? Maybe we can and maybe we can't. We have insufficient date to conclude in either direction.
But we DO make progresses. Thinking has has turned out to be good after all, even some believe that it's a waste of time.
It might be true that we're only at the beginning of the path to Knowledge and Understanding, however we know more than we did in the past and this makes us more able to improve the quality of this life. For those want of course. :smirk:

I must be a very confusing person

Eh, not everybody can understand everybody.

When I search for answers, my life does not improve, it only gets more confusing

I think we knew more when our minds weren't so conditioned :rofl2:

Even Socrates stated he knew nothing. Thinking we know stuff is just another illusion. I mean I know what a pencil is. But do I really know. Can I really fully grasp the knowledge and information contained within the pencil? My mind can think it can, yet this knowledge is but an illusion.

The more I learned the more I suffered it seemed for many years. Lately though the ship seems to be on course. Give it some more time, (20 to 30 years) and then see how it is.;)

We may never know what an unconditioned mind is like. It most likely was a mixed bag also.

No, not until we go back in time before there were space ships, computers, television, vehicles, society, language, tree of knowledge, etc.
My conditioning already occurred, and it will most likely be a part of me till the day I day. At least I am aware of the fact.
