two coolmists

this may be overkill, but would it be good to run a coolmist outside a greenhouse for fae and then have a coolmist inside on a timer for a a boost in rh?

coolmists do not provide much RH. That is why people use an ultra sonic 'fogger' on a timer. instead of your 2 cool mist idea.

cool mist = FAE
ultra sonic = RH

Have you ever run a cool mist in a green house 24 7, water pools on the substrates and bottom.

It probably depends on where you live. But yes, I have used both marthas and greenhouses.

I NEEDED both. Coolmist running 24/7, and ultrasonic on 30 seconds every 30 minutes. ---This depended on what time of year it was.

It all depends on where you live.

I hear of plenty of people doing just fine running just a coolmist.

I also had drain holes cut in the bottom of each... Both systems were elevated off the ground about 8 inches and trays were placed under to collect water. Very little water would collect, but it worked great.

There are different types of coolmists...you can't generalize all results across all cool-mists. The term cool mist simply means...it emits cool mist.

Impeller-type cool mists are the most efficient, and most suitable for large tubs/greenhouses. They are relatively loud, however.

Wick cool mists are the most common cool mists sold. They advertise the effect as an "invisible mist." They are not efficient, and usually do not provide enough humidity alone for a large tub(s)/greenhouse.

There are others, but they aren't as common, and aren't as effective as the impeller-type cool mist.

i was referring to a vicks 420 inside, on a timer, and another outside with 3 hoses to each level of my greenhouse, which would be 24/7.
