Just in time for "I am Legend".
Is this going to be a real sequel or what?

The imdb info says "Direct to Video". That is usually a bad sign.
Also Corey Haim pulled out of the project so something ain't right.

I don't understand how people liked the first one. It was as close to cinematic poop as I've ever seen.

Neither of the Corey's were picked to be a part of the movie. Well I think Feldman was but wouldn't do it without Haim.
I guess it's a good thing because such a crap movie might drive both of them back into Heroin and Cocaine.

Actually both Coreys were meant to be in the movie but evidently Haim has declined.
And although you may not like the movie it has received a good rating from fans on imdb.com over the years. Many people of a certain age recall the movie fondly.

It's only true that you remember childhood movies fondly, until you watch them again later on in life and wonder what you ever saw in them.
And if it's true about Haim declining work on the new movie, then why was he on his reality show crying like a little bitch because they didn't want him in it?

False. You can't make generalizations like that.
I have seen many movies over again which I enjoyed as a child. Some hold up, some don't. There is no hard and fast rule.
And you must have missed it, but the 'Two Coreys' program was billed as being scripted.

Theres a reason why cult movies get such high ratings on IMDB. It's because most everyone that's a fan rates it a 10 while the ones that hated it usually don't bother rating at all.
Look at The Boondock Saints for a classic example. It was about as terrible as a movie could get and it has a 7.8 rating on IMDB.

A lot of people LOVE boondock saints. I'v got a buddy who has it as favorite of all time.
I thought it was o.k. kind of lame at best.

I remember liking the movie as a child, and that's all that really matters to me. On a long enough time line anything you previously liked at one point becomes comical/absurd down the road.

I wouldn't classify 'Lost Boys' as a cult film. That movie was about as mainstream as you get. Just about everyone of a certain age saw that movie and it was shown just about everywhere.
I don't remember very many people saying they disliked it at the time and it still gets good ratings today. Sure, art snobs and critics may dislike it but that's okay. That only makes me like it even more.

I'm not trying to sound elitist or stuck up here, but anyone that says the boondock sucks is their favorite movie better not be older than 12 years old. It's nothing more than a glorified action movie for the simple minded under the guise of an intelligent film that seriously questions morality.
Took me 4 separate times to get through it all.

so that action was good though, just like lost boys im not saying they are in the caliber of say a china town or the deer hunter, however i found them enjoyable to watch. maybe for lost boys all that 80's nostalgia was enough that combined with a decently interesting plot and vampires, plus it has jack bauer man cmon. hahaha idk

wakeboard - Boondock Saints sucked ass - BUT there is a documentary about the guy who directed it - and how he was almost a milionare but ...oh god I wont spoil it - you should watch it - like watching the Titanic sink, it was awesome. This is what netflix has to say:
Lose yourself in this riveting documentary that chronicles the rise and ignoble fall of Troy Duffy, a bartender whose script for The Boondock Saints was picked up by Miramax bigwig Harvey Weinstein and made into a film. Like a freight train careening out of control, the arrogant Duffy -- once considered Hollywood's new wunderkind -- burns all his bridges, alienating his colleagues, his friends and his long-suffering brother, Taylor.

Already seen it ma'am, already seen it.
I like how someone tried to hit him with a car at the end.
