What color should I paint my home office?

It's white now, very boring... I'm looking to paint it a color that will make me focus, and work hard, but can make me happy too. Colors do change your mood , so if you know about them let me know. By the way the office is in an attic and has slanted ceilings on the side just so you know...

i would reccomend you watch some HGTV

i would go with something relaxing though. like crimson color. make it look like western whore house.

paint all the walls white, have nothing in the room but your work. make sure all your work is on red colored paper.

Go with earthy tones (greens, blues, browns). They will make you relaxed and feel very peacful. Perfect for work!

I'd go with earth tones as well. They really are nice looking together, and it's impossible not to match with them more or less.

Blue is calming & improves focus and productivity. I would go with light blue-green, as the slanted ceiling could feel imposing in a darker blue shade.

If you have art or photos on the walls of your office, review them to assess whether they have busy patterns. If they do, replace them with simpler images, preferably a central form with a light background.

I paint my office a very light olive-pastel looking green color, very relaxing and professional looking, goes great with anything especially wood :smile:

use the sponging technique
where you take a sea sponge that you can buy from home depot or lowe's
and use it to paint your walls


don't know if the color looks all that great in the picture
but i used it with my room
and i like it
