Seriously, they sold out Coors (which is a GREAT place to catch a game) forever, and yeah, management screwed the pooch for a decade or so, but they have an amazing young team (I'd take Tulowitzski at SS right now) and are on the cusp of something special. And although the place is "sold out" (I guess) it's half empty or so at the start. Having Francis with the pill (just went 1 2 3) it just adds up. Even AZ packed the worlds biggest disco (the BOB) back in the day.
GO ROCKIES!!!!
GO CUBS!!!
My wet dream of having the Cubs vs Rockies is about to come true...

I was at the game.
So disappointing. They left 6-7 on base. But it was still a good game and lots of fun. I drank a lot of beer and ate shitloads of peanuts...good time.
There was this toothless drunk bitch that would not stop tapping me on the shoulder to remind me to cheer, I wanted to send her over the balcony.

I know. And Kaz was safe on the steal (1st inning I believe), the Helton check swing dribbler, it just wasn't their night. What do you know about the contract situations and the chances of keeping this team together for the long term?
This season, which will need a lot of help to go beyond Sunday, has GOT to up interest in Denver I would think. When I went to see the Cubs in 1998, it was full. This year, the upper decks only had a handful of people. We need to get the revenue up.
Are you going to either game this weekend?
You shoulda offered your toothless friend some peanuts.
Peace.

This sucks. UCLA vs OSU instead of one of the most important games in the past 12 years. Oh well, 5-1 in the 5th.
GO ROCKIES!!!!
GO BREWERS!!!!!

It's still possible that Philly, NY, Colorado, and San Diego all end up with the same record. I'm kind of hoping for that because it will cause three days of tie breakers. That would be fun as hell to watch.
