Ya know, me and OLF were kinda chuckling about that little "see you in the playoffs" thing. Just how did you think that was gonna happen given the fact that we play to the end of the season? Not for nothing but you've been tilting at windmills for 2 months if you thought you had a chance to actually come in first. There's only been two teams with a shot for that long. And boy oh boy has it been a pisser. If it wasn't for you and your ten starter rotation it might well have been over by now. For people who don't know, OLF has done a brilliant job of getting right there. The Pitpoodles and The Big Sleepers have danced first place for at least the last six weeks. Last 4 days have been first place for me twice, him once and tied once. The champion may well be decided by one earned run. You cannot ask for more.

Well, I obviously figured out there was no playoff round about 2 weeks back. :wink: As far as how I thought I had a shot at placing first... if there had been a playoff round the stats generated throughout the regular season would not have mattered in the playoffs. This was my first time ever playing in a rotisserie league. Great show by both OMR and yourself. I had a great time, it was a pretty good league for the most part. Not too many people abandoned ship this year which was cool. I look forward to playing with you all again next year. :cheers:

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

Good season.  I'm embarrassed to say that I managed my team for the whole season. :lol:

Yeah, except when you didn't check in for several days just before the trading deadline.

You did show up, though, and that's a lot more than can be said for several people. I'm sure you learned a lot. There's nothing like experience. Though I much prefer rotisserie scoring it will be interesting to go the other way next year if we make that unfortunate choice. I'll definitely weigh in on some strictures on moves though if we do.

Forgot about that.  In my defense, I think I was moving around that time.  (late july/early august) I really haven't even posted much at all lately, just been fixin my place up.  Turned all my routine stuff upside down.  Hell It's like I'm a different person.  It's strange how fast having a house turns you into your parents.  I also hate that my neighbors yard is too nice.  :crankey:
