2)Potency - I take no medications whatsoever - an aspirin on rare occassions.

3)Have taken shrooms twice. Most notably, they made me laugh like hell - no Hallu. effects at all. Not sure how many grams taken. I get better visualizations through meditation!

as for the trip deal, i would venture to say it has more to do with your biochemistry than the shrooms. you could try to potentiate the shrooms with an maoi -- i've done that with good success in the past. it roughly doubles the trip and gives a little to the visual aspect of the trip -- not to mention adding a little dimension all of its own.

maybe you just need to wait until you've got about 8g and chow down -- at worst you would have a better trip than you have in the past, at best you would visit realms you never imagined.

and if yer up to it, meditate while yer shroomin -- that' really cool...

I always thought that "Stop, Drop, and Roll" was a way to save your life if you caught on fire, but then I realized my grade school teachers were advocating my later drug use.

I'v only completed 1 batch and my second batch is almost ready to harvest the first flush.

On my first batch of shrooms I innoculated 6 1/2 pint mmgg style cakes. All cakes colonized fine. Birthed them, of the 6, 3 were turned into a case and 3 were placed in styrofoam cooler with 2" wet perlight with Suran wrap lid, venitlated twice daily in temps of 78-86F.

The case was overwhelmed with green mold and resulted in 1g dried.

The 3 cakes fruited heavily on the first flush, then 2-3 shrooms per cake every 5 days or so for near 30 days. Total harvest from 3 cakes was 26 grams dried over 35 day life span. Obviously I was rather happy.

The spores were from Ryche Hawk. First batch was his Equadorian strain. Currently getting ready to harvest 1st flush from 6 B+ cakes and there are a BUNCH of shrooms almost ready (proably 10-12 grams once dried)

As far as personal experiance with dosage goes, I've done 3 trips in 45 days.

Trip #1 was 1.5 grams dried and felt like real strong pot buzz, it was ok.

Trip #2 was 2 grams dried, and things seems to look funny (dis-proportionate) but there were no obvious visuals, but it was an interesting trip (espicially when wife took me for a car ride, she was straigt btw)

Trip #3 was 2.5 grams dried, I happened to have been on a deserted beach on the SW side of Everglades national park in Florida. I got my first visuals. When I looked at the beach illuminated by the camp fire, for a moment I SWORE I was looking at a the surface of Mars, and where the water meet the beach was a huge cliff. Also looking at the campfire I noticed what I would call Pixilation. BTW I never laughed so hard in my life. It was INTENSE. The best part however was listening to my 29yr old little brother tell his stories of womanizing and doing stupid stuff in High school. Ever read a good book, and without realizing it, you no longer "see" the words but you "see" the story being told, even thought you are still reading the words. That was what it was like listening to my brother. For an hour I lived his life, It was impressive!

Anyway, your problem either lies in 1 of 2 places.

#1 Your somehow doing something wrong (temp, humidity, ventilation, substrate)

#2 Their is something wrong with your spores.

Find the answer and have fun! May want to try some spores from alternative source.

Spores were from 2 reputable suppliers and there was no colonization problem - in fact vary fast colonization took place in warm (85) humid environment.

Re: Trip - I do seem to have a natural high tollerence toward other substances. Perhaps this is my problem. I was a little concerned about using an Mao Inhibiter - based on facts I read.
