Help - Potency Problems with Ecuador Cubes

I just tried my first home grown batch of Ecuadorian Cubensis grown via MMGG/PF Tek. I chewed down about 4 grams, then after still not feeling anything about an hour later, another 2 or 3 grams blended up in juice. I had only a very mild short level 1-2 trip. I've eaten 3 grams of a friend's PF strain before and tripped nicely, so I know I don't have sensitivity issues. So, somehow they must be producing lower than normal levels of alkaloids.

Has anyone had such an experience with Ecuadorians from The Hawk's Eye (syringes ordered about 2 months ago) being of low potency?
Are there other environmental factors I need to look at that could cause decreased alkaloid production?
Could it just be a weak strain? and if so, will the prints from them I took be just as weak or possibly not?

They were grown in an ultrasonic humidified terrarium at about 90% humidity and 74-78 F. All were fan dried for 1 day, then dessicant dried for another 2 days and eaten within a week.

I've been growing a strain of Ecuadors procured from PF, and they're quite potent. You may have gotten a syringe made from a print from a mushroom with low psilocin/psilocybin levels. Since the spores are generally similar to the parent mushroom, that's probably the case here. Maybe we can do a trade--check your PM.

are u talking dried grams or wet grams in cases you talked about?

I find ecuadors to be potent. The last batch I grew was actually kick ass potent.So, it must be something related to the strain you have or the way it was grown. Generally, they are not weak.

These were dry grams....about 17 1x3 inch specimens I think, all harvested within a day after veil seperation.

I let my caps completly open for spore printing and they were still potent.Sounds like you did everything ok.

do you remember what batch you got your spores from? Because i ordered my eq's about the same time you did i some a little after and one turned out not to be so potent and the other was really good.
