It all boils down to a question of steel. There was a short article which came across one of the news-wires late one night last October which said that a prof from the U. of Utah was suspended with pay for stating that they found melted steel in the TT deb-ree and that it was caused by thermite. There is no fossil fuel (including jet) which, when mixed with air, is hot enough to melt steel. Thermite is a dry chemical powder which, when ignited, will produce twice the necessary heat; and it has been used in the ship-building industry for a hundred years to virtually instantly fuse together the nine-inch thick steel plates on the hulls of battleships.

Now, if someone was involved in something that they did not want to be associated with; where would they be, and what would their facial reaction be when told of the event if they were deeply concerned if it was going according to plan.

Contrast that with the reaction of any/everyone else when they heard about it.

According to structural engineers it was not necessary for the steel to melt - it only needed to be sufficiently weakend to cause a collapse. Steel melts at well over 2000 degrees but begins losing strength at only 400 degrees. At over 1000 degrees it has lost 50% of its strength.

Think about how much weight those beams were supporting.
