I'm addicted to caffeine and that's about it I suppose. I do smoke pot daily but I've quit pretty easily before so I don't count that really...

white sugar is my strongest substance dependency and has been for most of my life.

i am gathering the willpower to kick the habit for good.

i will be switching to a macrobiotic lifestyle once i come back home from europe next month.

I'm the same way. With lots of unhealthy foods, actually, but mainly sugar. My goal is to be able to maintain consciousness while that drive to be filled up - fulfilled - with delicious food is present. It usually overpowers me and I find myself uncomfortable with the present and thinking about a future where I am content and eating good food. I read recently that sugar is more addictive than cocaine. When I see a jar of icing, or of maple syrup or golden syrup or anything like that, I often compulsively eat it. Same with chocolate chips, or chocolate chip cookies, or any of that stuff.

i am not sure how addictive sugar in itself is compared to cocaine, but the fact that our bodies are introduced to sugar at such an early stage of life definitely does make us a lot more prone to addict to it.

it's especially difficult for me when i am traveling. at these times i am much more likely to dine on junkfood and other processed meals.

looks like i'm going to make myself some homemade lunchbags for future expeditions.

I'm addicted to heroin. It's been 2 months and I still think about it through most of the day. Also cigarettes, alcohol, and weed. Thinking about addiction also made me really want a line of coke right now, so probably that too.
