Ya got busted growing/dealing in some dangerous, awful, evil drug in huge quantity. You know you're fucked, others who have gone before you are spending 10 years or more....how many of you would spend the time? How many would try and escape the country? How many would just say fuck it and commit suicide? Would you just hope for the best, dump thousands upon thousands on a good lawyer, and try and get a few years less?? this is interesting how people face locked-up conflict.

escaping to another country would be very difficult. Once you get arrested for growing/dealing, don't they take away your passport? Don't they flag airports your name?

I would try and get to a country with no extradition treaty. It would be extremely difficult but anything is better than losing 10 years of your life.

And Israel.
Keep in mind how stable the country you go to is. You don't want to go there and then get extradited a week later when the treaty goes through.

I might just take the sentence, suicide would be a strong possibilty. I dunno though I guess I wouldn't know until I was facing 10 years+

Suicide for a 10-year sentence seems way over-the-top.
I would do what Nick Sand did, become a yogi, read, read, read, learn to sit in meditation for 3-4 hours at a time, discover that imprisonment and liberation are just states of consciousness.

I think prison would be pretty awful but I don't think it is bad as made out to be. The other people there want to avoid confrontation and just serve their time. They aren't out there looking to fuck everyone in the ass.

10+ years? I'd get out on bail and cash in on some promises. Anybody who knows enough to send me to jail has heard the words "fuck me and your mother dies, your father dies, your sister dies and you get to live."

I'd do my time. Afterwards I'd strive to come to grips with it in a healthy fashion. If not then I guess I would just start sending mail bombs to the DEA after my release.
