First Grow - First Cake - First Flush (pics)

Well, after many (many, many) contaminated jars here's my first "success."

Strain: A Strain
Grow Method: BRF cakes (PF Tek)
inoculation Date: 07/14/2007
Harvest Date: 08/21/2007

Sorry for the poor quality pic. I was running late for work this morning. =p

well I hope to do as well as that on my first grow .. I lost 3 of 4 jars to contams and the 4th one is colonizing well .. also trying WBS and LC I have started to see myc. in my LC jars .. yeah

seriously I dont understand why folks lose so many jars to contams..

Im guessing most folks dont use a PC..

I live in the desert , ie low hunidity..I have only lost one batch in
prolly 40-50 jars

I lost the jars because I naively tried the oven tek before I made a glove box .. now all looks good ! plus I am getting a new PC that goes to 15 PSI instead of the 10 psi mirro PC
I hope to not have anymore contams ..

Yes, you're right about the PC. I just bought one, but all of my previous jars (this one included) were sterilized by steaming in a large pot. I've also beefed up in other areas as well...glove box, face masks, isolated "clean" room, etc... So hopefully my future rounds will go much better. Fingers crossed!
