ssooo...if a cop found a bong that was CLEARLY smoked out of...

BUT the results came back 100% negative fer THC (i.e. you actually do use this particular 'water pipe' solely for legal purposes) then is there really anything they can do about it? I mean - would you still get yer bong back...or is it probable they'd just confiscate it anyway?

and would it make a difference if you were on probation at the time  :what:

You'd think that they would be obligated to give it back and that it would not effect your probation at all depending on whether or not bongs are legal where you live.

I think that would fall under "conspiracy to break the law." You could be prosecuted under the Patriot Act, and sent to GITMO with a prayer rug, a Koran, and a bowl of Fruit Loops™...

not *worried* so much as 'contemplating' picking up a little something something and starting me a salvia habbit (just cause I seem to remember a beautiful experience from the one time I had actually done it in the past) but I also know that there's a million and a half ways this sorta thing can blow up in my face (snoopy neighbors par exampla) and I ain't about to risk spending the next 18 months ina pound-me-in-the-ass prison just because I wanted to have the occassional week-end soiree with Lady-D

I seriously doubt they test paraphenalia. You can even get a paraphenalia charge if they find blunt guts.

You'll still get taken to court and you'll never see the bong again. If you're on probation for a drug/alcohol offense, then yes...that would be a violation. So you should definitely get a lawyer!

I got a ticket for discharging a firearm within city limits and they took my gun. I can't get it back, even though my lawyer got the charge dropped.

So if they found a bowl with resin but no thc, you think they'd confiscate it? I dunno, one of my friends was in his apartment, and something happened like the cops were looking for his friend who did something, and he wasn't in the apartment at the time, but "C" my friend was, and when the cops came in the house they seen his hookah and told and said "(name), try to keep your paraphernalia on the low" no confiscation, or testing, they werent searchin for drugs, so they didnt really care i guess.

if you can force them to test it to prove that its not marijuana they would more than happy to oblige as they love thinking that criminals pushing them will get them out of trouble, so if you absolutely DEMAND that they take a test then you will be fine.

Also, if they take you to court then you say "I demand a test" then it is your right to this test for THC in your bong. If it is clear, the cops are in trouble and you might even get compo!

most cops around here would smell it. It it smelled like tobacco they wouldnt even confiscate.

I could imagine c's hookah was packed with thc resin :smirk: he was in Tennessee at the time, i guess the cops up there aint as asshole'ish as the ones in florida
