Newbie's first cake...How do I pick these? (PIC)

This is my very first cake, and I guess I need to have my hand held for the very first/last time. My question is this. There are about 4 LY mushies ready to be picked. However, there are about 10+ little guys all attached to these 4. DO I cut the entire patch off at once, or should I cut the 4 out leaving the little guys to grow. The problem I see is that if I did cut only those out, there would be open "sores" attached to the little guys, which would be ripe for contamination?

Ok, went ahead and twisted off the 4 mushies. Most of the little guys came off with the large ones as I twisted, so I guess it really didn't matter. Thanks for your quick response!

I meant that this my first and last time that I need to ask such a newbie question... Definately NOT my last time growing mushies. I have 2 casings going now of the same LYs and another 2 casings that I just prepared of B+'s. AND I still have 2 syringes full of PESA's and KS's. Can't wait to get them going, then ordering a few other strains to try!

Well, that's stupid, if you think they're "a bad mushroom buzz that onlysts about 3 hours" you would'nt get much repeat business would you?

just grown 2 baches, one potent and one fast growing, then mix em up. the average guy won't know shit for shit. dealers are in it for the cash anyway, and for every one person who thinks they got burned 2 more will think it was worth it.
