FOLDING SOCKS = STUPID!!!!

I keep all of my socks in a large laundry basket and I dive through them whenever I need a pair of socks. I go through 2 pairs a day so like at the at of the week thats x 356 and you think I'm going to roll up/etc however you do your socks everytime? fuck that. Shirts and Pants and all that I understand but I DONT HAVE THE TIME FOR FUCKING SOCKS IN WHICH YOU USUALLY HAVE A PILE IN YOUR UNDERWEAR DRAWER OF 20 MISMATCHED FUCKERS THAT WOULD FIND THEIR MATCH IF YOU PUT EVERYTHING IN A BIG BASKET LIKE ME.

all I do is stick one sock in the other and make it so they stick together. I dont' fold them.

especially if your socks have been worn alot... then you dont end up getting 2 socks that youve worn on your left foot or sumthin.. cause they do take on the shape of whichever foot theyre on

I just throw all my socks in one drawer after they're clean. That way the hunt for a matching pair is on every day when I wake up. Like a scavenger hunt every morning.

i never pair my socks, but my gf does, and i figure just not complain, she's probably just programed to do so. it is pretty nice to just grab and know you have 2 socks, but not worth the time.

I just grab a pair of socks and toss em in a pile on my dresser thing so they're relatively close together.

I'm a clean guy, but I feel that socks were not meant to be folded. And they're especially not meant to be wrapped together and pulled back like an unloved piece of foreskin!!! That just stretches the elastic, people!!!

That is exactly what i do too. I hate dealing with laundry myself, I put off doing it a lot, then I end up having to do a lot of loads just to catch up. Maybe I need a maid? :lol:

I only have a few missing socks. I never usually wear mismatched socks, I just don't feel right.

But my bro wanted to head to the gym sooner than I anticipated today... wore two different ankle socks because I'm rocking shorts to the gym. Such an odd sensation... two different socks.

I was thinking about it a little while ago... lo and behold, a sock thread on the Shroomery. :cheers:
