god i hate carlos mencia...

he was talking about how steve irwin died, and he said he got killed by a manaray, not a stingray. THEY ARE TWO DIFFERENT ANIMALS. the guy is such an asshole. nothing he says is funny. hes made me laugh on possibly 2 occasions, and that was during the beginning os his career. but he is just so far up his own ass with his unfunny racial jokes, that i really think the world would be a lot better without him.

if you dont agree, you hate america.

I'm with you. The only time you hear a funny joke from him is one he's stolen from another comic. I know he has stolen from the guy on tv. I can't remember his name but he is spanish. Seen them fight over it on a Utube.

i was thinking about writing him an anonymus letter telling him to stop breathing, but then i thought that he would probably use that on his show next week. i hate it, ill be watching the daily show, then the colbert report (two shows that i really like to watch), then his stupid-ass show will come on, and ill just shake my head. i cant believe that guy gets ratings. hes as funny as bob saget cut in half.

I think it's pretty stupid to bash somebody for such a trivial mistake. Like your average person isn't supposed to mix up mantaray and stingray :smirk:

i'm pretty sure we've had this thread before multiple times, so i didn't even bother reading it. however, i would like to express my distaste for the fuckhead too. he's unoriginal, fucking stupid as hell, and wouldn't know humor if it hit him in the face. he's an untalented asshat. and i really wish he'd just disappear.

well one is harmess and freaking enormous, and the other isnt so harmless (though it rarely ever attacks) and is much much smaller. i just think if your going to put it on TV, at least get it right. and, if the irwin family saw that joke, i cant imagine how much faith they would lose in humanity.

the guy is just an idiot. i dont think your average person should mix those two up, but its understandble for sure. but whil ehe was presenting the joke we said "the guy had it coming" then went on to do a shitty impression of his accent, and said "this is the most poisonous snake in the world blah blah blah, and im gonna jam my finger up its butthole blah blah blah" and then went on to say what an idiot he was for doing what he did.

the man was 1000000x times the man carlos mencia is today. he helped so many people and animals in his lifetime. and Carlos boils his entire life down to "he had it coming." i just dont understand how people can laugh at that. i mean, i like jokes about steve irwin as much as the next guy, but not if your being a dick about it. most comedians respect what they are making fun of. Carlos doesnt seem to be one of those people.

I don't much care for him either, but I think Joe Rogan's arguments are kind of weak, particularly when he claimed he stole the joke about building a wall across the Mexican border. If there's a sign that says "jumbo shrimp," lots of guys are going to make the same joke, but that doesn't mean they're stealing it from each other. It just means they're being observant. So when a border fence is being proposed, and two(actually many) comedians make the observation that it'll take a bunch of illegal immigrants to build it, they're not stealing each others joke. They're just noticing something which happens to be true.

That said, I think Mencia's jokes are juvenile and unfunny.
