did they get rid of the points system?

I think it was also because certain members were spamming other drug forums with link to their ref. number, getting 50 points a hit for "unique references"

Have no idea what scumbag was doing this, though....

I just found out about this the now when I thoght "howw many points do I have?". Now I see they've gone.

Anyone know if we'll get them back? Presumably they know the guy who spammed the intros & if he actually was breaking a rule can just either take his points or bar him. I'd think they could just make it a rule not to spam folk (penalty barring) without taking everybody's points away.

I only found out about points a month or so ago and I was only about 80,000 points away from getting a tee-shirt so I'd quite like them back.

General ratings are stupid, too.
Trade ratings, good idea, though.

Shroomery should just use the "rep" system used by Bluelight and other sites. That would take the place for points, and ratings!

Also, there would be less bitching because the rep "points" are directly linked to how good of a poster you are, not how many posts you have, or how many unique referrals you get.

the other sites can keep their ways, the shroomery ratings system is fine as it is IMHO.

Meh.
I suggest taking the "rep" formula, but improving it. It'll be cool if we had that, as it would forever integrate points and ratings. You would still get the "rewards" points can get you, but you have to earn the rep. This way there will be NO more spamming, mindless posting, and other tomfoolery. Plus people would try to boost their +rep points, so they would have to be good posters. I think its a decent idea:ohwell:
because it fuses General Ratings with the reawrds aspect of points.
