1) Sterilize a babyfood jar with about half full of water. (make sure you put tinfoil on top of the jar)

2)Let your entire pressure cooker cool DO NOT OPEN IT UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO USE IT!

3) I would recommend taking your entire pressure cooker to your setup.

4) carefully place your food jar next to the chosen cap for printing.

5) SLOWLY but fluidly take the tinfoil off your baby food jar and at the same time cut your cap and set the cap so it covers the hole on the jar.

6) ok hard part is over put the jar with cap inpace back in your pressure cooker and wait about 24 hours.

7) turn on your oven and place the pressure cooker on the rack and open it up, remove your cap and place some tinfoil on your jar

8) this process has seemed to work pretty good many times..

Yeah, u dont want to sterilize the spore print, just make sure that u use a sterile x-acto knife or something similar when you scrape the spores into the substrate. Good luck.

Ok... There is no way to sterilize the print from contamination. But depending where you get it from chances is that the print is sterile. Now.... Did you read any of the growing guides??? Because you did not mention if you had a syrange.... I would recomend that if you are a newbie that you stick to the MMGG. Shure it is simple and doesn't do exstravigant amounts of fungus, but I got about 7 decent amounts on five cakes. And I colonized 12 gars.

So My advice is use the MMGG for your first couple of times and then switch to a advanced caking tech... Or once you get good at the MMGG go to a caseing tech.
