By the way, how was it? I'm a huge gangster movie fiend but I haven't gotten around to watching it, however I've heard it's decent and it's got the Cassavetes name on it, so it's probably worth two hours.

Yeah I'm a big Keitel fan, I like the gatorade commercial he did, shit is gangster. haha

I like at the end when Deniro gets shot in the neck and bleeds all over.


I'm sure you seen layer cake, and city of god. There's alot of good gangster flicks out there. I like the original scarface about Capone too.

The 1932 Scarface or the 1960 one? The 1932 movie is my all-time favorite film (well tied with the 1940 film High Sierra) but yeah the 1932 Scarface was better than the 80s one I think. At the end when Tony goes on a manic killing spree, it's one of the wildest things I've ever seen. However, I love the 1960 Capone one with Rod Steiger and I think it's one of his best performances. It's amazing what a generational actor can do when they play a sociopath or a gangster. City of God is required viewing for my social groups and I haven't seen Layer Cake yet even though I heard it was good.

And the '32 Face was what I was talking about, I am really into old school gangsters, especially Capone

Do you know Bogart or Cagney films at all? Bogart is my favorite actor of all time and those old school Warner Bros. films are my all-time favorites. You and I have a lot in common, I'm very into old school gangsters and the movies associated with them as well. I'm glad you've seen the 1932 film, is Tony Camonte's maniacal laugh while he's shooting at the cops not the most awesome thing ever? Lol, but yeah you're alright.
