Why do I have "read only" priveleges in some threads?

It is apprantly completly random. It has occurred for about the last 1 or 3 days in Pub, OTD, Psychadelic Experience. At first I thought it was because I was banned or something like that, but I quickly found out I wasn't:tongue:

It happens when I use the quick Reply, as that is all I use. I automatically use "raply to last post" but sometimes it glitches it goes to "reply to first post" automatically. ???
This is part of another issue that affects my prefernces, and changes them (WTF) such as "view full pictures instead of thumbnails" and stuff....

I'm running Internet Explorer, I'm pretty sure the original one. Def not the 7.0 new one though.

Maybe the thread gets dumped while you're replying? That's all I can think of.

No. it turns on and off with the same threads, even. Like one time it says I have "read only priveleges" and the next time I try, it works...in the same thread. weird


I'll post it here next time it happens, it seems to have subsided for now...

Weird, yeah if you notice any factors which seem to contribute to the problem please let me know. Also if anyone else is experiencing the same issue I'd like to hear about it.

It happened again. It was in this thread. As you can see I posted in that exact thread before. After Brainiac posted, I tried to add a bit of my insight and furth increase the quality of the thread, but that pesky "read only message" showed up again. I was doing nothing out of the ordinary.

I just went back and tried to post, and this time it worked. WTF?

So I guess this isn't a major bug or anything, but its odd and kinda a nuiscance to retype my whole message....
