Need help with some very basic HTML

I'm setting up an ebay auction and I wanna post thumbnails (linking to bigger versions) of my item. I have a host for my images, I just need to know the code.

I'm talking about what The Shroomery does:

what you do is use

the target="_blank" makes it open in a new window the border="0" removes the blue border that would appear around the image.

Wouldent that just be a full size image linking to a full size image. Maybe;
<a href="img.gif" target="_blank"><img hight="?" width"?" src="img.gif"></a>
