I saw BB at last year's Doheny Blues Festival (it was his birthday). The man played the guitar like he was cutting warm butter. My buddies and I literally were brought to tears, I now TRULY understand why they call it 'The Blues.' Words cannot express the experience, I can only say, beautiful, god damn, fucking beautiful.

Okay, first off, there's a "Reply to" feature for a reason. That reason being so I don't have to take an hour to look through a thread when you stupid fucks quote every single thing you want to reply to.

Secondly, the fact that you don't know who BB King is (whoever it was that sad that) is really fucking sad. Whether you know it or not he influenced what you listen to, even if you're uber-intelligent ass is too busy bragging about how you don't have time to listen to music because you're busy busting your balls over some stupid fucking homework while not knowing the difference between you're and your. Not to mention then you go on talking about how you're a musician.

As to the thread: That's awesome. I really wanted to see him at Newport this year, but I decided to go to Chicago for Lollapalooza in stead of Newport for the jazz fest since I've gone to that the past couple summers. Hopefully I'll get the chance to see him at some point in my life.

You could also just "Reply to" anyone, but indicate who you're replying to manually. New users don't know about the fact that every post is a response to a specific post (:rolleyes:) and don't look above the text box. Just doing like every other type of forum on the net ensures that there won't be any confusion.

Another benefit to "manual Replying" is that you can see them in the mouseover previews, another feature of this forum.

The topic at hand is how awesome BB King is.. I'm a jealous man.. Blues is definitely one of my favourite styles of music.. it oozes emotion.

And to the dude who doesn't know who he is.. You have no class. Modern music evolved from blues.. Next you'll be telling us that you don't know who Robert Jonhson is  :grin:
