Just Saw BB KING in concert.

What a god damned show. The chick and I even got called out personally by BB after a real cool moment.





ps. We were the best dressed of the whole lot, which was little more than 2500 people,which is nothing for BB.

I saw BB last month in Sioux City, IA! It was a truely amazing show.. one of the former members of The Allman Brothers Band also opened for him and I saw Dereck Trucks Band in Sioux Falls, SD at a music festival called Jazzfest yesterday.. both of the concerts were FREE!

Without the influence of BB King.. it's scary to imagine what we'd be listening to these days.. oh wait.. people listen to shit anyway and don't even know who BB King is anymore. Being 18 is hardly an excuse for not knowing who BB King is.. I turned 18 yesterday.

This was a little step,but the seats were fantastic, not more than 50b feet from the stage,in and outdoor amphitheater on a clear night. It was fucking fantastic,and the crowd was so insanely small,jam packed the place holds 2500, and it wasn't quite jam packed.

He must have been feeling good tonight, because he was making jokes and talking to the crowd nearly as much as he was playing,way more than usual,even.

i have too much homework ever since i changed my major

it's been a burden



but i thought a lot of people here listend to techno
i know i like to after i've eaten some shrooms

I dig the techno when on the shrooms too.. techno isn't the only type of music I like though. And seen as how I'm a fairly serious musician.. I know what it takes to make a lot of different music and my judgements about that music are usually based on the skill required to make it. It does take a certain mentality and expertise to come up with a decent techno ... but overall I believe guitar playing is more disciplined than clicking a mouse a few hundred times and pushing play. Indian sitar playing is some of the coolest stuff you'll ever heard in your life too... I'm not saying it's not good if it's not influenced by BB King, it's just kind of out of place to be posting in a "I just saw BB King in concert!" thread when you don't even know or care about BB King.

i played violin and piano for 12 years
and used to get paid to play in this orchestra
and we even toured in Europe once
