Simple program for editing MP3's to fade out?

I make a lot of mix CD's and what drives me crazy are songs that segue into other songs. Can someone recommend a small, simple program that will let me fade out the end of an MP3?

both easily accessible from torrents

these are full on audio editing programs though, but they'll do the fade out easily.

Yeah I am just looking for something simple nothing that is going to eat up HD space or system resources too much.
