Gotta love Dumpster divin

I live close to Sac State so a bunch of students live in my Apt complex, and now since school is out are moving home for summer.  Walking my dogs this morning I found like a brand new two and a half foot tall mushroom Hookah with four Hoses!!!!  Prolly dont want mommy and daddy to know about such activities!!!!  I Cleaned it out with super hot water and soaked all the metal mouthpieces in alcohol Works like a champ!!!! I love the first of the month!!!!! One mans Trash is anothers treasure!!!:bouncysmoke:  Whats the coolest thing you found in the Dumpster?

i've gotten couches out of the dump several times. decent couches too, but i've since gotten rid of them because i got a super awesome sectional for free off of craigslist. i also got a huge carpet that was perfect for my dorm from the dumpster outside at the end of my freshman year.

oh, and i once dumpster dove in a dumpster outside of a Lowes that was just opening up. got a bunch of random pieces of wood and plastic and stuff that i made a tv stand out of. it's actually rather cool. it's got a light grey top and nice blue plastic sides, and the inside compartment has like tool diagrams and shit from a random display sign. i'm using it now as a turntable stand, and it works perfect for the single turntable. with the shelf i added recently, the under compartment perfectly holds the pre-amp receiver on the shelf with just enough room for vinyls to sit upright underneath.

I'm not proud of this but a lot of the furniture from dumpster diving, also a lot of neat electronic, and once I found about thirty different baseball bats back when I loved baseball. They were cool major league wood bats from back in the day... I remember a Frank Robinson, Johnny Bench, and Mickey Mantle bat... I would use the Frank Robinson bat in little league games (I could knock the fuck outta balls with that bat... baseballs...) but I'm sincerely jealous of the hookah, I just bought one that doesn't sound nearly as cool as the one you found.

The coolest thing I ever found in a dumpster was... get this a box full of EXPIRED Dynamite. I found it at a quarry about 45 mins west of where i live on a mushie hunting trip i was going through this skip and was like awww FUK YEAH !!! Expired HUh ? hmm well see about that ... I think expired ones do a better job hahahaha. I had a great time fishing that night.

You would think they would dispose of that shit a bit more safely wouldnt u ? Even though it was out in the middle of bumfk nowhere.
