Is it wrong to get drunk on a Sunday? Help me ease my conscience please.

isnt saturday the holy day for the jewish religion? :-p so sunday is open game on the other hand if your not jewish, just pick a day to not get drunk on to free up your sunday :rolleyes:

Lol i like taht idea. Finding one day out of the week not to drink wouldn't be that ahrd for me I just feel like getting tore up today tahts all :P

Well I'd say it's fine, but my reasons wont make you feel any better because Christianity obviously has more influence on your life than mine. It's just a book, don't let it run your life.

Do YOU think it's OK? If so, drink! If YOU don't think it's OK, then don't!

I agree with this...if you believe in god and heaven and hell and all that fun stuff, do you really believe that on your judgement day that they will care that you got drunk on Sunday, I doubt it, kind of like eating meat on fridays during lent(this may be a catholic thing, i am not sure), it really won't matter as long as you were kind to others and don't do anything too bad, I like to believe that you will be ok. Like Fred said, it is just a book with guidelines and you can take the suggestions however you please.

(now if you drink and drive and kill someone that is a different story...but that is bad everyday, so try not to drive under the influence...but i am sure you already know this)
