i dont grow an actual tea plant, but i grow plants that I make tea with... isnt it weird how the word "tea" can be used even if there's no tea in it?

ive been looking for a source of good plants, do you grow? if so where did you get your sinensis?

this has been one of the plants ive been wanting to grow for a long time now.

I don't actually grow any yet but would like to grow tea, yerba mate, and rooibis. There's plenty of good suppliers just search the net...

I grow Yerba Buena, not sure if thats the same as Yerba Mate.

i did but it is too ho there for them.they really like to cool mountain mists that come up with cool air...and warm days. it is just plain hot here all the time. i may get some more for trade soon, depending how hard cuttings are.

well as soon as somebody gets plants we'll talk about the different types of teas and how you make them- White, Green, Oolong and Black are the different variations.

theres this tea called Quangzhou milk, they irrigate the tea plants with milk, it is GREAT!

milk is commonly used with various plants to enhance flavour...even fruit trees.

i can get trees, but honestly its a pain in the ass properly curing them, unless you just want simple green tea (which i hate). its a pretty cool little tree/bush but it does not like soring heat or cold temps. and curing needs to be done by someone with money or a passion for it. you will need many trees to have enough for a pot a day.
