 Psilocybe mexicana A. Strain

Hey guys, I'll be inoculating the Sporeworks' Psilocybe mexicana Strain A this week, using the Philosipher's Bag.
I know a little about sclerotia, but I have no idea as to what to do with them after they have been harvested.
Any tips would be great.

If it would be legal to do so, I would recomend you to ingest 20 g fresh for a nice level 3 trip, but since it?s not legal, I don?t recomend you doing so.
So you will have to dump them.

20g fresh? That's about 6-7g dry right?
Do you agree that mexicana sclerotia are less potent than cubensis then?

Yes, they are less potent, at least mine were.
But the good thing is that you can easily harverst over 100g wet from a quart jar of rye grass seed, so this makes it up for the lesser potency.

how did you find the potency of the fruit?
IME they were roughly double that of cubes.

I found it less than the double that of cubes, more 1.3333 of that. 
But with 2 gram the trip was very visuall with less mind component than on most cubensis strains.

just a side note.. mush is 90% water. thus 20 grams wet = 2 dry. just my 2/1 cents

I think for scelorotia or however it's spelled they're only 70% water. I could be wrong.

You are right, sclerotia are roughly 1/3 dry matter.

So, when it comes to fungi that form sclerotia, you are suggesting the I tell my friend to actually consume the sclerotia? So what you guys are saying is the Mexicana does not form fruit bodies?

Yes.

It does. But some strains produce sclerotia better and some strains do fruitbodies.

The a strain has been known as a very good sclerotia producer.
