Double Fry

i sun grilled on shrooms for about a good 3 hours in the sun and i haven't been outside in like 2 months.

im all red and burning.

what should i do?

i put lotion on.

Put aloe on it. You can get some stuff at Walgreen's that has aloe and lidocane in it to help with the pain, it works pretty good.

This may sound kinda weird, but vinegar actually seems to help with sunburns.  It smells sick, but it's always made my burn feel better and I'm usually not as red the next day.

Aloe's probably better if you've got it, but vinegar's a decent last resort.

(No idea if there's any scientific truth to this - like I said, it's always worked when I've tried it, though. :shrug:)

1. drink lots of fluid esp water
2.aloe vera in plant or gel form, alternate with a good cocoa butter based moisturizing lotion
3. an anti-inflammatory medication such as aspirin or ibuprofen. a sunburn is inflammation of the skin.
4.get out of the sun of course
5. coolness at the beginning, ie cool water etc to decrease inflammation

It will get better.

But UGH. Sunburns are my worst enemy of all. Spiders have NOTHING on sunburns.

I'd rather tango with a spider than a week long sunburn.

i will. it's basically just a tan now, it doesn't even hurt. but now i have some mad tan lines, lol. this aveeno makes my skin feel so good, so hydrated, so healthy...to bad it was like $8 for an average sized bottle(the most expensive).
