Just got back from Tool!

It was awesome!

The music was better than expected, it was held at the excel arena in St Paul. The light and video show was amazing! the entire floor of the stage(approx 30'x60') had a video projection on it ac-complementing the for 15'x15' video screens behind them.

They played song's from each of their album's!

I am still very psyched up.

Drove over 18 hours just to watch. It was definitely worth the trip!

that's a hell of a trip for a concert!

glad you enjoyed it... i though it was the worst show at 'roo, personally.. but, i'm not a fan to start with.

Favorite last night would have been sober, but the drummer from the opening band "big busness" had a duo with Justin Chancellor, tool's drummer. This when on for just under 10 minutes, but holy fuck! it was very impressive live!

From opiate they played Jerk-Off. They didn't play either pushit or third eye. That would have been cool though.

I didn't drive 18 hours in one stretch, it was a 9 hour trip each way. But now I am off to bed since I haven't done so in over some 20 hours.

nice work man!

early this yea me and my girlfriend flew to sydney to see them :smile:

then saw them again in melbourne the following week :smile:

Danny pulled off a drum solo in sydney!! it was fucking wicked
in sydney they played swamp song tho :smile:
