yeah, i hear ya... neither orgo or biochem were half as bad as people said, and i did fine too. And like you said, i dont consider myself genious at any stretch of the imagination either. however, I think it deoends on your professor alot too.

In my breif two years at college I have learned one thing: The quality of the professor means everything.

I had to retake Physics I and could not believe how straightforward a lot of it was. I failed with an F before and took NONE of it with me.

Just get an organic chem book at barnes n noble or your local library.

The textbook we used was probably the best text I've ever had for any class. It goes in baby steps with organic. The author is L.G. Wade.

Very good book.

... I try n change up my study areas and go wherever... so something I'll be in the bookstores and I came across this KAPLAN Organic Chem book.

If you'd like a cheap alternative that may even teach you better than the text, then get the KAPLAN organic chem book. I highly recommend it. It was like $30 or something so I always used it whenever I went to study. but very good book and no bullshit.
