Howdy Cats

So my old companions, its been awhile. Since we last spoke ive decided that I will be returning to school for a 4 year university program in Commerce, assuming theyll accept me.

Ive mutually ended a relationship of about 2 years with a fellow shroomerite, but we're still friends.

Ive moved out of my apartment and back to my fathers house to save money for said education..

So hows everyone been?

I used to feel home on the shroomery. I felt that no matter when i had to vent I could post in OTD about whatever i wanted. When i wanted recipes they were there, wanted news, hey just scroll down a bit.

But when i wanted a nice place for an emotional boost, the pub was the place. If i wanted a nice talk with some fine people, head to the pub. You want some congratulations on something you've accomplished or some empathy for a loss, the pub.

Haven't posted on this board in a few months though and apparently the pub forgets you..

Maybe I'm being dramatic, but its been a very long and arduous time lately and i sort of needed someone to talk to. Ill check this post sporadicly over awhile but its a better bet that ill be back in OTD where a fewer number of people care more about those they know.

That's kind of shitty about you significant other situation, but lose one, gain another, you know? It just takes time to get over things, but you know it usually works out for us better in the long run if we just let the thing do its thing, you know?

I dont even know if i need a shoulder. But no worries. Just figured some friendly faces would pop in to say hello.

I think i need more of a shoulder, a mind, and an honest word about my school and future choice then then the ex. I still love her and I think she loves me. Things just wernt working out at the time

Sorry, I may just be high, but I don't know what the problem is?

It sounds like you plan to go to school, and are saving up money at your dad's house. Although i'm sure it's crazy sometimes, it sounds like your on the right path and doing what you should be doing, albeit probably not how you originally envisioned it.

My dad barely knows of my plan and what he knows he doesnt like.

I will be back in school for 5 years at a cost of 5k a year, not including the money i couldve been making if i dont go back..


I wont graduate again til im 28... I will quit a job ive worked one year in as an apprentice, 2 years in college for..


Its a VERY difficult choice...

I see I see.

Do you plan to work during school? A lot of people work part-time at other jobs and work their ass off during the summer. That way school doesn't cost that much because they are making money simulataneously.

Anywho, I don't think you will regret getting your degree, as you stand to make much more money over time. People work well into their seventies as a norm now. That is a lot of years to make back the money for an education that will last you a lifetime. Just make sure your positive you are ready to commit - and do the work.

Also, as far as the money goes, 5,000 is cheap as shit. You can easily make most that, if not all, in a summer if you work hard.

Good luck. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it.:heartpump:
