Delay with off-site previews?

Sometimes threads take a while to load completely, stalling at almost 100%; my browser indicates that what's causing the delay is the off-site preview feature, Snap Shots.

You can disable it in your display preferences if you want.

Yeah sorry, I still don't have control of Snap's server but you can still disable it in your display preferences. If anyone knows how to capture web page screenshots on a Linux box without X let me know and I'll set up our own version of the service.
