I realize commercials are just advertisements trying to get us to buy things, but I do appreciate the ones that are either hilarious/creative.

Well I'm obviously going to buy something at some point in my life, and if I see an ad for something that makes me laugh I'll buy that before any of the competition.  If the company took the time to make a commercial that was entertaining and really caught my attention and made me laugh, they're cool in my book.

I'm with ya there.  Advertising disgusts me a lot of times but when it makes me laugh it gives me the impression that the corporation took the time to hire people that would at least entertain me with comedy while subjecting me to mindless buy this buy that.
