how to animate a gif?

any pointers on how I can animate the smoke coming from bob's blunt in my av? I have pshop I just don't know how to do it.

try a prog called TakeOne, its a few years old, its very easy to use and just around 4mb

its easy go to animate a small window should open with frames. You start
with one frame (the still image) and copy paste a new frame; then change
the image. now if you play it it should flash back and forth between the two frames, change the frames per second and add more frames until its a
flip book animation with the fps the way you like it. Save as a .gif
under save for web. just mess with it til you figure it out.
