whoah, tell me this ain't true, but I've only gotten one syringe from PF (amazonian), and I've only gotten pretty short shrooms, lots of fat asses, and I've just been pulling from these using mycellium innoculation, so should I get a different variety, that would be an excellent solution to my 1-year growing of what I consider sub-par shroomz.

i know the pf strain isn't very popular here, but is there anything actually wrong with it? are fatasses less potent or anything? aren't most of the psychoactives in the stem anyway?

Fat assism is usually caused by water. Thats it! Usually you'll get mushrooms with fat asses if they are close to you source of humidity. For example, if you sit PF cakes on perlite, usually the mushrooms that are sitting on or closet to the perlite will get big becuase they are absorbing the water. This doesn't hurt the mushroom at all and the potentcy isn't hurt...the mushroom is just a little bloated:-)

Pf's Got that FUNKY ass strain...Ive been growing it for about three years now and I've been satisfied . but now im ready to expand and try hawks many varieties. But The PF strain does do the funky dance when growing into wierd shapes...Interesting!

The PF Fatasses and all that has been discussed so much in the past...get's me nausious (pun?).

Regardless if you don't like fatasses don't buy PF...it is a good starter strain. I grew them for many years and was happy. But I also use to think hot dogs were great when I was a kid too...then I found out there were all kinds of food to try. It's the same way with shrooms...lots to choose from. You might want to try the B+...It's the main strain I cultivate now-a-days. Don't get me wrong PF is still in my collection but I save it for picnics these days :wink:

Well, they are still growing at the moment, they are very slow. Supposed to be very spiritual, is from mexico, supposed to be one of the more potent cubensis's.
