I've owned 3-4 copies of most of the CDs I've downloaded through the years. Album, then 2-3 cassettes, then CD...

I use Radio Shack Titanium headphones. They're the fucking best! Plus I plug my Ipod directly into a decent home stereo. You can tell the difference then too.

I plug my computer into my stereo, but I only live at home 3 months of the year.

Why even download music if you own copies of all the albums you download?

Because most have been lost, been stolen/ripped off, broken, misplaced, scratched, warped, loaned and never returned etc. etc.

Because of flac I can get 'em all back tho!

Yeah and to me your FLAC clutters the download pool with garbage (not really since Oink only allows one copy of a file for each format, so it doesn't really matter.)

I care because I want to see mp3s fall so bad! Once technology catches up to allow lossless in portable music players (which it already has), hopefully we'll all see mp3s do the slow fade into oblivion!!!

But why does this matter so much to you?
It's not like you can't listen to your lossless shit now, mp3s aren't stopping you.
Shit, if iTunes would support FLAC I'd probably download them, but it doesn't, so I don't. I just don't see why some people are so uptight about it when it is really such a small, not noticeable to slightly noticeable difference.

I get tired of hearing people's bullshit like that. Like it makes me less knowledgeable about music or good music or something.

They're there only because of the ratio. Hey, I gotta survive, and people want those dang things. If I didn't offer them, someone else would make some mp3s pronto and take all the upload.

You notice that I only offer 320kbs though. Fuck 192, and fuck 256. I don't even like 320, and yes I can tell the difference between a 320 and a lossless.

It seems hypocrytical, but I look at it like this. If all I did was up flac, someone else would make the mp3s from them and get all the ratio instead of me. If everyone downloaded flac it wouldn't matter.
