Dood I would get rid of that jar. Wouldn't take my chances. That contam might be all over in the center of your cake. Justin

been a few days now, I'm going to be casing it, so I'll be sure to check the inside of the cake, but it seems since I've inverted the jar, the contam hasn't spread, and most of the dots are covered by mycellial growth, I'll still be cutting off these parts that showed reddish-purple dots, but at least it didn't take over the whole jar.

I've birthed the cake and it seems that the infection came from the top, guess I should have taped those holes closed, the infeciton spread to the middle of the cake in an area the diameter of a quarter, I cut it out before casing, but will definately "test" one shroom to see if I get sick from it before trippin on these.
