Purple Contam?

Here's a real head scratcher. I inoculated some PF cakes with spores from a home grown print. After a few days I began to get mycellium but it formed like a hallow around the inoc site. Eventually, the sight of inoculation turned purple. So now I have a well covered cakes of mycellium with four purple circles. What's up with that?

Doomed. Toss them(.) Don't handle them at all. Especially if you have any cuts on your hands.

Could be Fusarium

If it is, some species are highly toxic, you have been given the correct advice!
