I went and saw them, last night and that was hands down the strangest concert that I've been to in quite awhile! It was really chaotic and the crowd was bizarre. People dressed up in costumes and I'm pretty sure that at least half were on some sort of hallucinogen(s). I know I was.:smirk: Anewway2sayhooray went with me and he got kicked out in like the first 30 minutes for smoking a cigarette.:lol: I told him that they were strict on the smoking thing in the theater. So, I walked out and let him get his shit out of the car and he booked it around Birmingham until the show let out. :nonono:

Danksis is in south Alabama visiting with relatives and cleaning out our house down there. I completely forgot the Ween was even playing until yesterday morning. I thought I was supposed to work and even went in. I saw that I was requested off and was like wtf? Oh yeah! What a random night that was! I ate some trimmings from some sheets that some friends of mine had and it ended up being about 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 hits. It blew me away. I was pretty speechless for about 3 hours with only snippits of conversation here and there.:toomuchacid: I went home and played around in my guesthouse and back yard area that's like a jungle on the side of a mountain. I did this for awhile and then watched part of Domino and Kung Fu Hustle. My brain was spent by this time and I went and tossed and turned for about and hour before finally falling asleep to kaleidoscope visuals. It was intense.

Hey at least you accomplished something. I was walking around the house this morning noticing how trashed it was, so I got up, took a shower, smoked some herb and started the huge task of making this sty presentable.

On a side note, there was this guy last night that kept screaming Ween at the top of his lungs. It was freaking hilarious!:grin:

Blissed, do you know if he is going to the roo again this year. He tried get ahold of me on AIM the other day but I missed it, and by the time I got back to the computer, he was gone. You should make him come again this year. aNewWay was definately one of the coolest dudes I met all weekend.

Or if you talk to him, just tell him LoFiFunk says whats up, and to get at me!

Oh, and BTW, WEEN is sick as fuck, I'm jealous you got to see that show.

Yeah, I went to the Asheville show the night before, and it too was freakin' crazy! They are such kick-ass songwriters and musicians, and they rock so hard, but the whole time I'm laughing and got this perma grin from the wacky goofiness that is Ween. It's definitely something you have to be there to appreciate and understand. And they played for three hours! And their second encore was LMLYP with some super Shockedelica in there, but I couldn't see cause there were about 50 or 60 people onstage dancing and carrying on. I love Ween!

ween is awesome, when i lived back east they would come back to their hometown of new hope/doylestown and play shows for like 5 bucks. Nothing beats seeing ween play at john and peters on main st in new hope. Always a good time and they jammed the fuck out everytime they came around.
