I live in Michigan, the east side...need help finding wild shrooms.

I need someone with experiance,to help me locate a good place to find wild shrooms, around Michigan...also what is the best time to go hunting for them?

there are actually quite a few actives in Michigan, hit up dead logs in the woods and cow fields 2-3 days after it rains.

try horse fields too. ive found pan subs to be of an abundance in spring through fall. look in well watered and manured gardens.
