I would like to add my support (again) for the growery. (i like that name better too) I think it would be cool to have a shroomery-wide poll for deciding the final name.


The biggest sites i know of now are all affiliated with Seed Distibutors, and i do not think that is something you will be interested in. Selling seeds is what go OG busted, and why most wee forum servers are outside of the US.

Exactly. Spores are legal in almost all states, whereas marijuana seeds are prohibited acrossed the board. Vendors for marijuana seeds would be a huge red flag.

I am wondering about what they are planning for sponsership.  All major seed vendors are outside of the US, (You would be an idiot to order from canada).  Would there be Reeferman banners? etc.  I think all vendors should be 100% US legal products.  More grow supplies/equipment and less seed distubuters.

There is one problem with this though.  So called 'respected breeders', might be reluctant to come to a new site, where they cannot petle there wares.

Pompous as some are, having well known breeders around is always nice.

Wrong, I said MH lamps are obsolete now that spectrum adjusted HPS lamps are available which veg just as well as those archaic bulk heat producing dinosaurs that are MH lamps.

boot camp was pretty sweet actually, i enjoyed it a lot and plan on getting back in the service in like a year or so.

Obviously, what we need is a way for shroomery members to EXPORT their account to the Growery/Weedery, that way they need not have to register a new account personally unless they so choose. This feature would be easiest to implement and you could use the data already stored in this database quite easily.

There are so few names relating to marijuana not taken by squatters waiting for someone to buy the url for an inflated price.

Check out www.godaddy.com to see if you can find a good weed site name that isnt taken, its quite hard, trust me.

I agree with keeping the main public forums separate.  But I think a few of the sections would benefit from being linked to both sites.  Perhaps forums that are important but are not super active and are more information based rather then socially based.

Sections like
-Physical/mental well being
-Music, art, and lit.
-Culinary arts
-Science and tech

These sections are already vast banks of knowledge and I think would flourish even more with the extra activity linking both sites would bring.

Ythan, I think it would be a good idea to allow our passwords and usernames to carry over to the other site. It would be really easy for some troll to come in and register as another Shroomery member's username and cause a big pain in the ass. I think that would make for some trouble.
