He's ruining OTD with arbitrary, unfair, heavy-handed policies against free-speech, and the usual freedom of posting we usually enjoy,... once again.

As you can see, he also thinks he should edit what people say into whatever he wants, whenever he wants. Do you really want a mod running amok trashing your board like this?

I asked him to take DBK out of his title, he was given multiple chances to do so, and he decided it would be better to oppose and mock my request.

He's only banned for 5 days, from one forum. Personally I have no idea what went down but my guess is electrode baited Rono and Rono overreacted. That kind of stuff happens when you play with fire. It's annoying when people come to me to fight their battles for them.

What happened was we had "DBK" in our titles, for fun in OTD.

And Rono swooped down like a crazed madman and insisted that everyone take DBK out of their titles.

Electrode refused because he (Rono) was acting like an ass, and was banned for having 3 letters in his title. :thumbdown:

he probably thought that Rono's request was too idiotic to be a serious one...

Well for instance you can't have "YTHAN'S PHONE NUMBER IS 3032841064" as your title. If someone would explain the whole DBK thing to me maybe I could figure out what the hell is going on.

First of all.."Rono" has ONE "n"...not two.
Secondly...If it was self evident why you were asking to have the user change the title...i.e...YOURS. then yes, I would force that user.

Thank you Ythan. I hate to trouble you during your buzy day with bullshit like this, but when it's "mods gone wild" starring Rono, we have no where else to turn. And frankly, you make sense Ythan.

I would suggest explaining to Rono how a mod should treat fellow Shroomerites so that that you don't have to get any more of these types of interruptions.
